NAMITHA- Glamorous Actress of Film World

Namitha the most glamorous girl of kollywood was born and brought up in Mumbai. Namitha's dad is a businessman and her mom is a housewife. Namitha is basically a malayalee and her entry into films was through a Malayalam movie directed by Siddhique.

She was also the runner up in the Miss India contest held in 2001. This paved the way for Namitha to the Telugu Industry. Her entry to the kollywood industry was through Engal Anna. She is one of the few glamorous and tall heroines. She is 6 ft tall and weighs 70 kg. She has acted in Tamil, Kannada ,Telugu, Hindi films.

Although her base was Tollywood she became famous after the Tamil film Engal Anna opposite Vijayakanth. Born and raised in Gujarat, Namitha is another actress in the long list of imports from the North that entered the Telugu film industry via Tamil movies. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a housewife. She became popular with the Tamil version of the film Engal Anna. A Miss India contest brought Namitha to the Telugu film industry. After entering Tollywood, she immediately grabbed the attention of Telugu film lovers with Sontam and Gemini


Namitha is a lover of white roses, birds and animals. Her favorite colors are white and black. Namitha enjoys reading books and comics. Her favorite author is Sidney Sheldon. Her other hobbies include swimming and playing badminton. She also loves dancing and watching movies. Tabu and Nandita Das are her favorite heroines. Her favorite co stars are Vijayakanth and Sarath Kumar. She loves traveling and visiting new places. Namitha is an open hearted person with a high sense of confidence in her.
