Namitha does a Cop role in Deshadrohi

Actress Namitha who is know for her glamorous roles on screen, will be seen for the first time wearing a Khaki dress. She will be playing a cop role for a telugu movie titled Deshadrohi. The movie was formally launched on Monday, April 20, 2009 at the Anapoorna Studios, Hyderabad.

Namitha came in a Khaki for the muhurat shot. The film has Shanti Chandra as the male lead and it is being produced by GVH Prasad on Sridevi Cine Chitra banner and directed by K S Nageshwara Rao. Actress Namitha has been recently seen in a glamorous role in the films Billa(Telugu), Jaganmohini, Perumal, Thee and 1977. None of her films expect Billa tasted success and it may forced Namitha to look for roles which has more importance to her rather than appearing just has a glam doll on the screen.
