But now Namitha is opted to act as a Mohini in a movie. It has become the habit of many Kollywood music directors to opt for the old hit songs and remake it into a remix. Many of those songs have also become a great hit. The Lakshmi Movie Makers have bought the re-make rights of the very old Vittalachariar film ‘Jagan Mohini’ from his son.
The Lakshmi Movie Makers have approached Namitha for the role to be played in this song, that was done by Jayamalini in the ancient movie. Unfortunately, Namitha has not given her assent to this!!
