Vacation Time for Glamour Queen NAMITHA

Her innumerable fans must be wondering what happened to nice girl Namitha. Well, buck up Namitha fans! The good news is that Namy baby will be back in action after a short break.

The grapevine says that the very voluptuous glamour queen of Tamil cinema has taken a well-deserved break after a hectic shooting schedule in connection with two of her Tamil films.

First Namitha, who is looking slimmer and stunner these days, was busy shooting with Vijay for ‘Azhagiya Tamizh Magan’ in Hyderabad.

Then she flew to the cooler climes of Malaysia for a shooting stint in the company of Ajit for ‘Billa’.

The Gujarati girl has taken a short vacation to be with her mother in Surat.The buzz is that she will be back in action next week for the Simbu -starrer, ‘Kettavan’.

Namitha: “I have enough offers in my kitty now”

Namitha is a happy girl now. She is flying around the globe acting in Ajith’s Billa, Vijay’s Azhagiya Tamil Magan besides Perumal opposite Sundar C.

A thrilled Namitha is shooting for Perumal in AVM Studios now. The actress says, “I am happy that I have enough offers in my kitty now. Billa features me in a sophisticated role, which I have never done before in my life. My role in Azhagiya Tamil Magan is laced with humor. In Perumal, I play a daredevil rustic woman”.

Namitha is equally thrilled to be part of a Silambarasan’s movie. She says, “I play a beauty pageant in Silambarasan’s film”.

“Working round the clock gives me immense pleasure. I always like to keep myself busy and thank Almighty, things are falling at the right place for me now”, she says.

Namitha, the glamour queen of the southern film world has lost 10 kgs of her weight through an intensive exercise regimen, without undergoing any cosmetic surgery. This has become the talking point for the Kollywood actresses nowadays. These days, for a medium budget producer in Kollywood, Namitha's name itself is enough to sell the film to the distributors. She is the only actress willing to act with any kind of hero without any prejudice. She paired up with the aged and bald- headed Sathyaraj with the same elan as with the youthful Ilayathalapathy Vijay.

But after Naan Avanillai, Nameetha's looks and curves were no longer able to entice the viewers. When the actress realized the fact, she underwent a strict exercise regimen for a while. Now she is looking as petite as during her days of Maha Nadigan. Her new style is simply ravishing and more and more producers are lining up outside her house! At present the actress is working round the clock and the plum projects she has in hands are Azhagiya Tamil Magan with Vijay, Billa with Ajith and Kettavan with Simbu.

Her first ever-English project Maya is getting ready for a worldwide release soon. She has decided to accept new movies only after completing her present projects.

Namitha said:

"This is an appropriate decision on my part. I give 100 percent to each project that I have done and I am critical of my own work. I also take criticism from others very seriously, be it from my friends, family or media. I try to overcome my flaws and make sure that I follow sound advice. Regarding my weight loss, there is nothing secretive about it. I didn't undergo any surgery or weight losing techniques. I sincerely worked on it and made it possible.

I have already completed my portions with Vijay in Azhagiya Tamil Magan and Billa..." The actress visited her hometown Sutra in Gujarat a few days ago. She will be back to the studios only after a week and pair up with Simbu for his much-awaited project Kettavan. It is for sure that their new onscreen chemistry will sway the hearts of the viewers!

Namitha's Revolutionary Decision

Until now, everybody was more interested in specific organs of Namitha. The actress says that she is so happy these days because for the first time attention is shifting to her performance skills.

Namitha and her voluptuous figure was a source of constant titillation for the front-benchers all over Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh to some extent. She decided one day that she was tired of those roles and disappeared for a while. When she resurfaced, she had lost about 10 kilos of weight and looked lot slimmer.

She was rewarded for the efforts by getting offers to star with the likes of Vijay and Ajith in Tamil.
The actress says that it was a learning experience to work with those heroes because they had given her lots of acting tips.

"I intend to get more serious about my roles in future," she says.

Namitha in Big and Serious Trouble

Though she still continues to be extremely popular among the audience, Namitha is fast losing her goodwill in the industry mainly due to the rate-slab that she has created.

Namitha never says No to any offer. She doesn't refuse working with any hero- new or old. But she has different rates for different heroes- newcomers, seniors and popular heroes.

Now that she is starring with Vijay in a new film, other popular young heroes are coming forward to act with her. Ever since she regained her popularity, Namitha has completely lost interest in the films that she had signed up with rank newcomers. The producer of one such film had borrowed heavily for the film based solely on the fact that it has Namitha in the lead role.

Ever since rumors surfaced that she has radically altered her priority list, the financiers are now demanding that the producer return the money.

He has now decided to file a complaint against her.
