Hansika Motwani who looked beautiful in ‘Maska’ is now ready to dance for an item song in Meher Ramesh’s remake of Billa (Tamil) starring Prabhas. Namitha and Anushka are playing the pivotal roles in the film.

It is said that Hansika Motwani is doing the item number not because she likes to do item songs but because she has great respect for the movie’s director Meher Ramesh. Hansika Motwani considers Meher Ramesh as her Guru and brother.

If reports are to be believed, the item number is being shot at an expensive set in Hyderabad and the producer and director of the film have kept aside the secrets before the film is released.

This remix song of Hansika Motwani, something along the lines of what Kareena Kapoor did in Don (Hindi), is going to be so exciting that it will be remembered for a long time.

Jaganmohini to set the stage in March

Graphic works are in progress for Jaganmohini with Raja, Namitha and Meera Chopra in the lead. SK Viswanathan is directing the movie while Murali is the producer of the Telugu version.

Speaking on the occasion, the producer said, "We are bringing out the film simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. As the film has lot of scope for graphics, we are busy completing the works. Especially, the scenes that have been shot in Rameswaram, Andaman, Chennai and Hyderabad would attract the audiences.

We are making efforts to ensure that our film would also maintain them similar standards set in the earlier Jagamohini directed by Vithalacharya. We are sure that our film too would attract all classes of audiences and would leave an indelible impression in the hearts and minds of the people. We are making efforts to release the audio as well as the film in March."

Namitha Offered a Double for Negative Role

Actress Namitha is a busy bee with films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Director turned actor C Sundar, who has worked with her in Sandai and Perumal, is said to have roped her into his next film as well. But Namitha’s said to be playing the antagonist in the movie.

Namitha, it is learnt, was originally hesitant on taking on a negative role, but later agreed to do it, only after her remuneration for the film was doubled. The film is yet to be titled.

Namitha`s Indira Vizha is not Disclosure !

Director Rajeshwar, who has completed the shoot and dubbing for his film, Indira Vizha, starring Srikanth, Namitha and debutant Hemamalini, has clarified that his movie is original and not an adaptation of the Hollywood flick Disclosure or its Hindi adaptation Aitraaz.

The movie’s story, however, bears a striking resemblance to Disclosure and centres on Srikanth, an employee of a TV channel, whose boss turns out to be Namitha, his ex girl friend.

“Only the plot may sound similar. We have treated it completely differently,” says the director, whose movie is expected to be a March release.

Namitha most Searched South Indian Actress in Google

Sex bomb Namitha has emerged the most searched South Indian actress in Google’s list of India’s Top searches on Mobile for 2008.

The buxom beauty has beaten strong competition from the likes of Nayantara , Shriya Saran and Trisha to make it to the top ten list.

The survey also reveals that Namitha’s photos have been downloaded by more than 3.2 crore internet users.
Namitha says when she first heard the news she did not believe it. But later when she saw the list herself, she was thrilled to see her name on it.
The hottie Namitha had won the Miss Surat crown in 2000. She stood fourth in the Miss India Competition in 2001, the same year when Celina Jaitley won the crown. Instead of trying her luck in Bollywood, Namitha migrated to the south. She has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films and is famous for her daring s-exposure in all of them. Her only Bollywood film till date has been an adult comedy Love Ke Chakkar Mein (2006), also starring Rishi Kapoor.

Namitha apparently wasn’t always on the heavier side but put on weight for her roles down south because the audiences there prefer voluptuous heroines. Her biggest hit in Tamil has been Billa (2008) with Ajith, a remake of SRK’s Don where she played the role of Eesha Koppikhar and had more screen space than Eesha had in Don.
